How to choose a Brand Designer
There are so many branding and design business out there. Especially in the social media world, but how do you know what to look for in choosing the right one? I have gathered the six major steps in the design world that are most important to look for when choosing a designer for your business.
01 Your designer will set up a call with you 〰️ this helps to get personal with your business and make sure your both a right match for the design process. This helps with eliminating tons of back and forth emails.
02 You will receive a proposal and contract 〰️ This helps get you both on the same page with the entire process-including timeline, final deliverables, what to expect and what the designer may need from you.
03 Your designer will give you homework! 〰️ This is one of the most important steps in my process. I give all of my clients a personalized brand questionnaire to help guide me through their creative vision and learn about their business to best set them apart and target their ideal clients.
04 Your designer will create a brand strategy for you 〰️ this helps to initiate the beginning steps of creation and to make 100% sure they are on the right track artistically. This includes a Mood board for direction and color palette, font and overall vibe of the brand.
05 Design 〰️ This is the fun part! Your designer should present multiple options and you should know the timeline on expectations and have revisions available to you. After final approval, your brand starts to come to life!
06 Launch 〰️ Your designer should export your final deliverables in all formats needed and if you choose, present a social media post collateral to celebrate your launch with your clients.
At the end of the design process, I always send out a thank you and some fun freebies as added value for my clients. Its such a close process and I always develop such a close relationship with my clients and they love getting added elements unexpectedly!
